| We use liners in our baskets so that water does not drip on your furniture. After two or three waterings water will accumulate in the liner and may overflow and your plants will be sitting in water which could be deadly for them. Tilting the basket on one side will allow the water to run out. Some people use a cooking baster( yes!) to remove the water. Plants set in a basket will take longer to dry out. Instead of watering every week consider watering every 10 days for most plants, every 2 weeks for Phalaenopsis (for more information about watering see the culture section of our web site). |
