FAQ Frequently Asked Questions

You Find The Answer Here!

How does Hold for pick-up work?

We'll hold your order at our greenhouses for you to pick-up.

How fast can you prepare an order for pick-up?

We can, most of the time, have your order ready within a couple of hours. Faster for small orders, longer for large orders.

How do I redeem a gift certificate?

You may redeem it at our greenhouse or by callings us. We just need the gift certificate number.

Can I redeem a gift certificate online?

Sorry, currently our system does not allow redeeming gift certificates online.

Do you charge fees (shipping or other fees) when I order a gift certificate?

There are no fees and there is no expiration date on our gift certificates. Because of system constraints, our check-out will add a delivery charge. To offset the delivery charge we deducted the delivery charge from the price of the gift certificate. For example for a $ 100.00 gift certificate the product (gift certificate) charge will be $ 85.00 and the delivery charge will be $ 15.00 for a total of $ 100.00.

Can I include additional instructions when I place an order?

You may do so at the checkout page, in the shipping address area, just below the telephone number, in the box "Order notes".

Can I place multiple orders?

There are two ways to place multiple orders. If you order as a guest (without registering or logging-in), at the end of each order we'll ask you if you want to place another order. If you have created an account, then you may select as many names from your stored shipping addresses as you want. We'll ask you for each one when and what to deliver. At each checkout the system will fill the recipient's information. At the completion of each order we'll show you who is next in your selected list and ask you if you want to proceed with this next order.

How long orchids last in bloom depends on the type of orchids, on your conditions and on how you treat the plants. Please click on the tab How to Care For My Orchids in Bloom in the top navigation bar. In good conditions (plants not overwatered, sufficient humidity, temperatures within range, not forced air blowing on the plants, no direct sun) you can expect your orchids to last this long in bloom: - Phalaenopsis: 2 months or more. - Oncidiums and related genera: about 6 weeks. - Paphiopedilums: about 4 weeks. - Cattleyas: 2 to 3 weeks.
